My name is Saul Ouellet and I'm currently in my 2nd year of attendance at Bishop's University. I'm pursuing a Major in Computer Science, as well as a Communications and Digital Culture Minor.
As of right now, I am aspiring to work in a field involving computers. From a very young age, I've always loved the idea of contributing to the largest growing industry in the world. Whether it is software or hardware development, IT, cyber security, or video game development, I've always known that my ideal career path would likely involve computers. Deconstructing and learning about the logic behind how they run has always been fascinating to me. My first 2 semesters in the Computer Science program have only reinforced and reassured my interest in the subject matter!
I also have a very strong passion for writing. I've always admired and have had a keen eye for well written bodies of work. From detail-rich fantasy worlds, to elaborate and intricate academic articles, I always find myself looking at how authors use language to get their message across - sometimes even more so than the actual message itself. My professors and peers alike have always encouraged me to pursue writing, which is definitely something I'd like to do in the future as well.
