Aryan

My name is Aryan. I was born in Iran in May 1996. Since I was young, I really liked computers and spent lots of time learning about them by myself. After high school, I chose to follow my interest and study computer science at the University of Tabriz. I completed my studies, but couldn't get my degree because I wasn't excused from military service. So, I had to either join the military for two years or move to Canada and start a new degree. It was a hard choice, but I went to Canada for another degree. I applied to several universities and got into Bishop's University for BAIT. I moved to Canada during the pandemic, so my classes were online at first. That's why I went to Vancouver where some of my family lives. Being with them during my first year in Canada really helped me with the challenges. In fall 2021, my university started in-person classes again, and I moved from Vancouver to Sherbrooke. The people at Bishop's were very friendly and I quickly felt like part of the community.
